Hitler also targeted civilian areas for maximum effect. The same people who betrayed Poland by signing a secret pact with the Nazis have betrayed Ukraine by wiping their collective butts with the pacts they had with the country.

After Russia stealing the biggest NPP in Europe (which was producing 20% of Ukr power) , bombing all others in Ukraine, they still didn't reach state of disaster ..... just saying.

M-R also led to Finland being brutalized by the Russian Mir.

They must have a minister of electricity, hence their extraordinary resilience.

Didn't Rome use that salute first? :)

So do you think that being anti-war means you should just surrender when another country invades?
Yep. Opposing Russia's invasion is anti-war through and through. Letting Russia have its way with Ukraine will breed more war. Not less. The world hoped Georgia would be the last. Chechnya. Crimea. Sadly that was not the case.

No more. It must be shown to not be worth the trouble. It has to be made clear that militaristic expansion is for the history books. Consequence and resentment from the last great round of colonialism and imperial expansion still reverberates through societies around the world. Even from earlier rounds back to ancient times in some cases. Just like consequence and resentment will flow from Ukraine against Russia already for decades. Maybe a century or more. The short sighted foolishness of would be emperors...

Regardless of the outcome of this war, europe is going to be overwhelmed with traumatized men and women. New right wing terrorist groups will proliferate, mercenaries for hire, new violent drug gangs. Imagine all the weapons for sale to terrorist groups. Chaos.

Regardless of the outcome of this war, europe is going to be overwhelmed with traumatized men and women.

Didn't that happen after every war Europe was involved in? Did it lead to new terrorist groups?

Look it's Ukraine which is being traumatized. Rest of Europe is not being traumatized. The few volunteers who fight in Ukraine are a rounding error of a fraction percentage point.

New right wing terrorist groups will proliferate, mercenaries for hire, new violent drug gangs. Imagine all the weapons for sale to terrorist groups. Chaos.

That will happen in Russia. And maybe that country will break up the way the Mongol, British and Roman Empires broke up.

The world has changed since 1945. The blowback from this conflict on top of the simmering tensions already there is a recipe for chaos. Glad I am not in Europe.
