Withholding tax is virtually impossible, especially if on PAYE - rates, etc will just get you disconnected and in the po. Tax revolt is a non-starter IMNSHO.

Next idea, please!

It sure will not work when people have your "can not do" attitude. There are no other solutions, so please lets hear your idea. Or would you like it all to fail to hell?

You are quick to attack someone you do not know and have never had a discussion with.

The only way to unseat the current regime is by the ballot, anything else will fail and be politically spun in the ANC's favour. Talk to people, see what it is they think has caused the issues that we are currently faced with, help them see the facts as they are.

Voting is what got SA into this mess. Go look at JHB if you think a coalition is the solution. SA is not only an ANC failure, it is also a political system failure. Democracy fails when 6 or more out of 10 people are idiots.

"Democracy" is what we have to deal with. I would not call the voters idiots, uneducated and misguided, yes.
 
Sounds like an sabc advert.... Pay your taxes, its the right thing to do

P.A.Y.E. and VAT is where the national government gets it money from. How are you going to implement witholding that Tax? Can you force your employer to not pay the P.A.Y.E. over?
Can you tell the shop/garage where you buy your food/fuel from to not pay the various taxes applicable?

In the case of CoCT: That is local Government not the ANC national Government which steals faster than they can be caught. CoCT at least delivers services for the tax/fees they collect.

Not paying the municipality where you live is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
It is a stupid idea and you will suffer the most.
They will even recover the money owned by taking from your Pre-paid electricity/water payments everytime you buy.

Which right minded person can afford to be without water and electricity in our modern society? You will die from diseases.

Not paying your municipal account is probably one of the dumbest ideas I have read on My-troll-band.
People just don't think things through.
The middle class - that is mostly the trolls on MyBB - has more to loose than anyone else. The poor/destitude are already in the shitter. The rich can just pull up and leave. That is the reality we are stuck with.

Okay, my suggestion for you then is emigration, just like the others said..

The only reality we are stuck with is people not willing to inconvenience themselves but expecting to win a war - typical keyboard warrior generation. What I suggest has been done, albeit at smaller scale, but wait till they confiscate your home without compensation Zimflopwe style, maybe then you will be forced to act, just pray it won't be too late. My suggestion may sound unpalatable, but you know mass action is the only way, its the only thing this government fears & responds to.
 
I get salary. Do I need to ask accounts to pay me cash and with no documented trail whatsoever ? But, they bill the client and then surely client has to pay them cash as well with no documentation ?

This can be quite a opportunity for private sector to commit fraud.
 
The government will crush any tax rebellion, it's a non starter.
 
In the World I want to believe that most people are born good, and want to do right things right to the best of their ability if allowed, however this quality is exploited by high level criminal political syndicates, especially in todays world its taken to the extreme, this is ONE factor that give them the confidence to continue on that destructive path to the greater humanity. Lets face it if the World has way more criminally minded people(Parasites), it cannot have a future.....The scale is however tipping.........Now that RESET(Not CKlauses Great Reset of Evil) will be interesting to watch unfolding.
