Drone tech is getting to something out of a dystopian movie, a military micro drone with night vision and 1.6km range, there’s no where to hide from that.
Imagine how handy that will be when fighting close combat, imagine the dread when you see one of those flying into your position and you realise the enemy knows exactly where you are, the layout, number of men, weapons.

And then it blows up..

Not me that mentioned and old age home with no evidence. I responded in kind.

Now care to get back on topic?
Beautiful. Thank you:

When you don't stick to your own aphorisms...
When you moan about others acting like forum police when you do the same...
When you moan about others getting personal when you do the same...
When you moan about others going off topic and you do the same...
... you are a hypocrit.

Keep going.
Why? They're obeying the law...
Chinese banks say: "Hey world, come and invest your money with us. Yeah, too bad about those guys that got sanctioned and got their assets confiscated. We were just obeying laws".

Oh wait, this is the stance of the Fascist West.

I see pattern emerge here.
Whatever the Western elites accuse others of doing you can be damn sure they are aleady doing it on a next level.

When will Westerners ever wake up and realise their elites are a bunch of morons?

What scares me more is how it develops so fast from consumer grade drones. I am fearing the day that SA cash transit heists happen with dji fpv drones. Even just typing that sends chills down my spine. We have seen how both sides (ru and ukr) are seemingly having a arms race with dji drones. Consistently a new innovation comes every few days. Scary future. Wish the same could happen with drone tech that is beneficial for humanity. One of the positive and beneficial cases for humanity of this was china who recently assisted turkey with drones which illuminated rubble areas.

I really hope this war does not come to a point where both sides start employing bipedal infantry drones. Luckily, I don't think both sides have the tech capacity to do that yet.

The idea that people can only focus on one thing at a time, that governments distract people from other stories is pretty hilarious and strays into tinfoil hat territory.
That may be but it does seem to work extremely well in the US.

Not sure if this was posted before but I'm not bothered to check. In case there are any members here who want to actually read what Hersh said:

There is a thread specifically on this but his claims not verifiable.

Do you think the CIA regularly use 14-year-olds from Norway as Intel sources, during the 1970's?

Bit of a strawman. Most people have a very finite number of things they can focus on. It isn't really more than a handful of things you can focus on at the same time.

I think he means people in the plural, i.e. it is impossible to distract 200 million Americans (over the age of 18) and have the all focus on only one thing and ignore everything else.
