Pick n Pay scraps use of plastic barrier bags at till points

Saving me time as well. Don't have to muck about taking soap out of plastic bags and then out of more plastic.
This is true. No real need for this. Just dont fk around on your reasons pnp. This is about profit

People who shop at PnP are so uncivilised anyway. I just use the Sixty60 app and they give free brown paper bags.

What is annoying is the staples. Seriously just stawp

Woolworths did that a while back - it seems nobody bothers to bring old bags back for re-use, everybody is now buying the R10 bag at checkout.
Nice easy gig they got going
Ww still use these barrier bags. They scrapped carrier bags to sell reusable bags. WW online uses plastic carrier bags though, for free.

Oh dear, now they will chuck the Toilet Duck in along with your bread. Then when you make toasted sandwiches later they will have an aftertaste which faintly resembles the bog.
I wouldn't joke about that. Once when I was shopping I got a bottle of toilet cleaner. I realized half way through the shop the bottle was leaking over everything else. Including bread. I had to restart the whole thing. Since then I've always tipped those sort of things over to test there is no leakage, as well as gently fiddle with the lid to make sure is screwed on properly.
