I always thought the cool kids sit at the back of the bus. I always wanted to sit at the back.
No this is not what I believe. Except maybe for women voting, women should not be allowed to vote. However I have no problem with black men voting.
My ears pricked up too, very interested. You've piqued my curiosity.
Why should woman not be allowed to vote?

Gombiza says the MSC Cruises theme cruise was organised by an independent third party, that they are solely responsible for all the details relating to the theme, including the on-board theme entertainment for its guests and for the appointment and management of artists. According to Gombiza, the line-up change was "done in accordance with our contract in place with the third-party organiser, which requires that they comply with MSC Cruises' values and standards".
Jirre koek, mineer!!
Interesting. I am curious now whether the production company has viewed this thread. Their LTickets.co.za website is now redirecting to their main webpage.
What is known is that their statement and MSC’s statement are at odds. As can be seen in this Google Cached view,

vs. what News24 quoted,
so this raises the question, who errored? Did the production company not meet MSC's values and standards?
Just an odd position by the production company to redirect their tickets site given this situation. It needs to be taken under review whether the initial line-up was approved by MSC.
To have clarity on this matter, the issue is best addressed by the production company, because they advertised Steve and Demi-Lee as the main attraction,
and as its managing director said, "beslis".
From a consumer's PoV, I can only hope that event ticket holders will be reimbursed, in particular those who purchased to explicitly attend Steve's and Demi-Lee's show. This being said, both MSC and the production company have a clause which states that the artists and or line-ups may be changed and that the purchaser is not entitled to any claim under any circumstances. Who really loses here? Only the consumer.
Now, seeing that there is damage control, will MSC continue to work with this production company or vice versa? A party didn't meet the contract.

Disclaimer: advertised activities and artists are organised by the organisers and is additional to the normal entertainment and activities as planned by MSC Sinfonia and MSC Cruises. Additional activities and artists as planned by the organisers can change at any time without prior notice to passengers.
Good grief. What happened to his face? Looks like the future of South Africa.....
Saw a review for the MCS cruises.

And sitting in the sun getting burnt to a crisp, this is the holiday for you.
Made me think twice about gifting my parents a cruise.
I do like the idea of a cruise where you go from port to port and visit new places, but these cruises to nowhere.. would bore me to death.
And then to be stuck with that guy from Wankaranda trying to sing… oi.
No I rather stay home thanks

' For some baubles'.how far back do you want to take it then? till the very first slave? till the very first explorer bought cattle for some baubles on the shores of ZA?
is it ALL "apartheid"?
the answer of course is no, apartheid had an official start date, anything before then could be racist, separatist, inhumane, etc ... what it cannot be is apartheid
jirre, get off you misguided high horse' For some baubles'.
I've always heard these type of stories. 'They sold their land for beads, or mirrors or something'.
Not one shred of evidence. Do you have any proof? Another racist trope?
SaamwerkGreat things can be achieved when we work as a team..
It's a party, if you are a boring person, obviously a cruise would be boring. Then you probably should just stay at home and watch tv.Saw a review for the MCS cruises.

It also just didn't start out of the blue for no reason. There was segregation laws before apartheid. Apartheid just means segregation.jirre, get off you misguided high horse

STEVE NO LONGER ON YACHT BOAT FROM CAPE TOWN TO NAMIBIA
Go vomit in your garden instead," is Steve Hofmeyr's advice to his fans who bought tickets for a boat trip on which his performance was cancelled.
In a video on Facebook on Monday, Hofmeyr advertised his upcoming concerts, shared thoughts about the recent State of the Union address (which he did not watch) and vented his anger about the decision to cancel his participation in a concert on the MSC Sinfonia.
He was initially the most famous artist who was to perform next week in Lefra productions' Kappityt festival on a cruise between Cape Town and Namibia.
However, Hofmeyr's show was cancelled, apparently due to pressure over his statements regarding politics and the LGBTQI+ community.
Johan (Sloet) de Villiers, founder of the organization African-European Indaba, says he alerted the management of MSC to the controversy of Hofmeyr and his statements after he saw on social media that the singer was among those who would attend the festival participate.
He and Hofmeyr have crossed swords several times in the past and De Villiers, who lives in Amsterdam, has previously put a stick in front of the singer's performances in a similar way.
"Hofmeyr himself was shown the door at various venues over the years, not only in the Netherlands, but also internationally, after we informed the landlords who they were going to have on stage," says De Villiers.
"I'm not going to waste my time if he sings for a few bowlers and farm boys in Wolmaransstad, but if he gets involved with companies like MSC, it's a different story," he said on Monday. "Go sing on Aunt Stienie's farm or in a bar somewhere, but don't expect the big companies to support you," he says.
According to De Villiers, prospective passengers, including a same-sex couple, approached him from South Africa to find out from MSC Cruises why they allow Hofmeyr to perform on their ship. "There was also a South African marketing company that contacted MSC following information (about Hofmeyr) provided by passengers."
In his video on Monday, Hofmeyr railed against the shipping company and others who, in his opinion, are guilty of excessive political correctness.

Sloet de Villiers, an activist who lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and is campaigning to prevent Steve Hofmeyr from performing overseas, says that messages of hate speech and threats were posted on his Facebook after a fake screenshot last week apparently by Hofmeyr and AfriForum supporters is distributed.
