The adults celebrating child-free lives

Zero problem with people choosing not to have kids but I don’t understand why they are screaming it from the rooftops like it’s some sort of achievement.

It’s especially bad when they don’t read the room and so this in front of people who are desperately trying to have kids but struggling and these idiots automatically include them in their food erroneously.

Why they need support groups I don’t understand though. That tells me they are having trouble dealing with their choices.

I was one of those who had a child-free vision of my future and somewhere along the line changed my mind. Wouldn’t have it any other way but don’t begrudge anyone who doesn’t choose that path, both sides have pros and cons and good days and bad days.

Probably to help them through the emotional pain of abortions.

I'm still shopping for a kid. Waiting for one that comes with good specs.

My young adult daughters have decided against having kids simply because the future looks like a kak place to be and they don't want to put kids through that and certainly won't be "celebrating" it like these morons that are because they need constant validation. . The human race is becoming sh|ttier and sh|ttier as time progresses.

I only decided to have kids later in life (38) so I have a bit of perspective on both sides I think.

There is no way to accurately describe the way having your kid hug you and tell you he loves you makes you feel.

Also... if you don't want kids, and don't have them this will not bother you in the least.

It is a matter of not even coming close to knowing what you are missing. And I hope I convey this correctly, because I don't think either choice is wrong.

Yeah I am pretty sure the past only involved people being impaled up the ass.
Kids can't even play in the streets anymore because the possibility of being robbed, raped, abducted or ridden over by some moron is very high. A friend of mine, his son who is 14 was mugged on his way home from school Wednesday past. Of course it was the usual suspects and 4 of them because they always outnumber their victims because they are cowards.

I get enough interaction and suffering from the kids of my friends who are my age. Its more than enough - bit of interaction I do enjoy - buy them stuff, take them to McDonalds or whatever - their parents whisk them off by the time the screaming and crying is irritating me.

And of course the usual "are you not slitting your wrists every night because you're single and don't have a family.." lecture every now and then lol.

Less kids is more a sign of finance in savvy people and those wanting to give the best. No kids is a different choice.

Father's Gen 8 kids, mine 4 kids, my kids 2
I don't think the no kids option is ever cast in stone unless you physically create the conditions to make it so, just as some vegans eventually go the animal route, the crossfit person retires or the bachelor dude that constantly bangs on about how great it is to be single.
