The Tshwane metro police warned motorists to avoid certain roads in Faerie Glen in the east of Pretoria on Tuesday because of a protest march by the EFF.

Woke up this morning to find out we had some really heavy rains during the night as the gravel road's damaged in some places.

Nothing too serious to prevent me from going to work though.

But if it stopped an EFF stront march, well done.

We had 135mm in 24 hours. A few houses were turned into rivers, two of the roads in and out of town were flooded, and my yard looks like a dam. I know I've been complaining that we haven't had rain similar to what we had a year ago, but this is ridiculous
