Jeez, talk about logistical and planning failure!! Had to make an emergency run down to Tops to get some beer!! Was hoping the stocks would last till Tuesday but alas and a lack it wasn’t to be. Got some good Irish whisky whilst I was out. Luckily the car has leather seats coz the swimming trunks were still wet!!

I’ll need to ask Martika whether there’s a difference in her view between Toy Soldiers and Tin Soldiers. Both are lifeless in my opinion.

I would imagine you could use any recipe. The phyllo pastry is a bit more work. You need to brush each sheet with melted butter. I think six sheets should be enough. I know I saw some one making it on Food Network some time ago. Maybe Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver.

Rofl I warned my pops about the pastry. Basted it with mustard and with chopped mushrooms. Very tasty but fell apart, learn from the mistakes made I guess.
