Evolution of cope cages continues. It seems like they are starting to focus now more on grenade drones than threats from javelins. Here we can observe the machine gunner being covered by the cope cage in attempt to stop smaller grenades. Which actually makes a lot more sense than trying to use a cope cage to stop a javelin or artillery.

For me the way Russia acted in the lead up to the invasion, with all of their denials proves that the narrative of "NATO made me do it" as completely false.

If that was an actual motivation, Russia would have been far more vocal, they would have been at the UN protesting against NATO, looking to lodge a resolution or be engaging with NATO.

Yet, nothing. Just a denial that there would be a war.

Russia intended to invade and to quickly overwhelm Ukraine's military. They looked for a swift victory, capturing Kyiv and quickly installing their puppet regime and annexing what ever they could.

They hoped for a quick victory, before NATO could efficiently arm Ukraine. That would have been another victory in itself to show other countries how ineffective NATO is and there is nothing they can do to stop Russia.
