Yet, nothing. Just a denial that there would be a war.

Russia intended to invade and to quickly overwhelm Ukraine's military. They looked for a swift victory, capturing Kyiv and quickly installing their puppet regime and annexing what ever they could.

They hoped for a quick victory, before NATO could efficiently arm Ukraine. That would have been another victory in itself to show other countries how ineffective NATO is and there is nothing they can do to stop Russia.

They were engaging in the UN that is public records and you can look it up. And no obviously they aren't just going to declare war on nato lol why would they do that.

OK, show me the public record where they engaged with the UN on alleged NATO encroachment in Ukraine.
