Tito Mboweni tells white South Africans to join the ANC

I have never seen white people taking the train periodT.

If they were clean, on time, safe, not overcrowded and reliable, they would take the train like I used to when trains were as I described.

I used to catch the 23:59 from Cape Town station on Saturday nights to get home after a night on the town. Or party on and catch the 05:00 home.

Ek verstaan fokkol, Praat englis.
No schit........

I cannot believe how incredibly stupid you are. Your writing has to be a troll.
Nothing in our universe can really be this stupid. Perhaps this is some primordial fragment from the original big bang of stupid.
Some pure essence of a stupid so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of physics that we know.

He is absolutely correct. There is no other political party for SA.

Get into and behind the party, expand your social network, and SA could shine.

Shake off the inherent pessimism and rise above the personal hatreds, jealousy, bitter and habitual skepticism. It's like a contagion among the capable educated, who are actually in a better circumstance than the vast majority.
Your head injury seems to be getting worse.

Either that or stop drinking on the job....

They had their chance if the country was in a better state under their rule. I would have given them my vote.
Agreed. If they were running the country well I wouldn't have an issue with them.

I see Tito recently said white folks are racists for not supporting the ANC. I live in a country that is majority black. It simply follows that my leaders will be mostly black. To expect otherwise is dumb. The colour of my leaders has never concerned me. The ethics and competence of my leaders concerns me.

This country has/had all the ingredients to facilitate a powerhouse country. Mineral wealth like mad, a massive workforce, large amounts of land, a fantastic climate, developed infrastructure. It isn't like this is some barren wasteland like Japan where we have to work incredibly hard to make it a profitable society.

The ANC was handed an easy win on a silver platter and they squandered it.

Looks like this country has short memories. This is what Tito had to say about Afrikaners in 2006:

At a breakfast in Johannesburg last week, reported in the Financial Mail, Mboweni said: "I have sought to recruit many competent black people, and no sooner have we trained them than they leave. I get so upset! I am stopping this recruitment of black people. I am okay with my Afrikaners. They stay and do the work."

Their definition of "Afrikaner" also changes based on what circumstance suites them or what argument needs winning.
That word means nothing coming out of his mouth.
Some prime examples on this forum.

I could never in good conscience support the ANC. Look around at what they've done to the country. They're guilty of stealing the futures of 70 million people.
There is a case though that if we did join we would be allowed to vote on the ANC leadership and choose direction etc.

I have considered this as a option - but can't bring myself to do it.

Consider this. The original vote between Zuma and Ramaphosa was a close one. We all know that given the choice (back then) every person outside of the ANC would have voted against Zuma.
Now I have a lot of criticism of Ramaphosa but all of it goes silent if I consider that we could have had him instead of Zuma for all those years. Even now if they did somehow make it a race between them again I would still chose Ramaphosa.

If "we" had a voting block within the ANC to influence who goes and stays I think that would really be something.

An interesting thought. Makes we wonder about the internal structures and mechanics of these parties.
I don't think though, that I'd be able to do it either.
