Namibia is looking mighty tempting right about now.

No, systematic downward ratchet mechanism.Imminent disaster!!!!!!
Yes they don't have any load shedding.Namibia is looking mighty tempting right about now.

Paywall - sorry, and can't take screenshots/copy in app etc.
It is REAL.
Namibia has "watertight" supply contract with Eskom, so no loadshedding for them, ever!Yes they don't have any load shedding.
Was there last week with a cruise liner and the local guide from Walvis Bay said they get electricity from South Africa and Zambia. According to him.
The entire country uses less then Edenvale, they probably also pay better.Namibia has "watertight" supply contract with Eskom, so no loadshedding for them, ever!
Imminent disaster!!!!!!
Even the biggest dumbf**k would sit up and take notice if there is 24/7 power, clean water, jobs, food, homes, etc... Of course, none of it will happen overnight. Maybe not even in our lifetimes. But maybe, just maybe, if we can get rid of the cancer eating this country from the inside, my kids can live in a more peaceful, stable country. (Although my nine-year-old is already talking about leaving SA one day!) I can hope anyway.A new government will fix fokkol, SA is meant to be broken until there are significant less dumbasses in the population. The dumbfvcks who voted ANC are all still there, ready to vote out of their arses again.
So are you saying the Eskom crisis wasn't caused by blacks? It wasn't clear at first, but at least now it is, that fundamentally you're a racist.
Yep, there are several suburbs in Boksburg that don't get loadshedding. Nothing to do with there being a hospital in the area or any other emergency services, or industrial. Springs also doesn't much loadshedding. It's all a sham, they're choosing when to load shed and where and the public schedule is just a farce. Someone here mentioned how Boksburg doesn't get load shed and was almost crucified for it. Turns out they were right though.
We were there on 7 Dec and they were supposed to have from 8 PM to 12. Just after 10 it comes back on. We were surprised but they were sitting there like they were expecting it. The next day we were supposed to have from 6 AM to 10 but it only came on at 10:39. They were quick to switch it off at 06:02 though. Again the next day 20:00 to 00:33.
It's also not the only time with numerous such instances in between. Again yesterday 06:01 to 10:38 and 14:07 to 18:27. I see this every time they go nearer to half an hour over time until they eventually go much longer. Not the same with them.
The other day we were there on a Friday and they said they didn't have any load shedding for the whole week while we had a few times every day. On another day they were supposed to have 4 hours but only got a little over 3 but what they told us was that it would have been the first time they get 4 hours while we had every day. We've heard the family say before that they also never get it during night or early morning but couldn't believe it but now I'm starting to. Again the other day when we were visiting them they said the same thing again.
Boksburg is at least 2 stages lower than us while we get extra over our schedule. Eskom makes a big deal about Soweto not getting less load shedding. That's just a distraction. @Jan If you want a real story examine how unequal load shedding is between other towns.
look, its not happening. Doubt they will allow it to get to that point

Been warning us for ****ing years. These experts are worse than the ANC
Two weeks. Give it two weeks.
No they are skipping the schedule. They were right because they were not being load shed. Under stage 1 and 2 they don't get load shedding. It's only under stage 4 they get stage 2 and they don't get it at night or early morning. So you are saying they were not right?Because it does sound like you were there and they were getting loadshed, just not accurately according to the schedule you saw.
