Not 100% sure, but I think the older model Kia Picanto or Hyundai Atos came with an automatic gearbox.
Alternatively, a 2009 model Hyundai Accent may also fit the bill.

Defo a Jazz if you find find in your budget or perhaps the Getz auto (much less of them around vs the manual tranny though).

If you can find an 80s model Toyota Avante those were pretty reliable and economical. My brother had an auto one until he crashed it, I'm sad to say.

That particular Jazz is from a Nigerian scammer dealership just FYI. Infact most cars in your price range on autotrader will be from Nigerian dealerships.

Do not limit your search to dealerships only; most are a rip-off.
You get some decent private deals out there.

Yeah good cars will be hard to find at that price range, Rather let her EFT you the cash to keep and then save up until she has about R80K, There will be a lot more options at that price from reputable dealers and not scammers selling written off cars or cars with reversed mileage.

It is quite scary out there, Even Sandton Auto which has a huge beautiful showroom floor sells dodgy cars(Accidents/reversed mileage), they also own infiniti auto in Boksburg. Southgate wheels another one that sells dodgy accident cars, Avoid Carzuka, Stephens Auto, EBK auto, Right cars. Man the list goes on and on. Dont be fooled by any "fancy" showrooms.
