Well Russia was shot in the knee by civilians with guns during the initial days of the invasion. Are you scared of civilians with guns for some reason?

Encircle the town, cut it off, leave a small enough force and just nail the town. Literally just do another Mariupol.
Instead the force is just being bogged down for Bakhmut...
Most of Chasiv Yar has already been evacuated. Ukrops started burning papers and moving HQ last week already.

I'm standing against the aggressor. Russia had no right to cross the border into Ukraine and murder, rape and abduct little boys and girls as well as their mothers and fathers.

Sandpit logic and politics. Condemnation of Russia doesn't automatically imply one condones the US shenanigans.
I remember a year ago when Russia was going to encircle all of Ukraine. That Defnotalaccount dude told us it was about to happen any day.
Now they are barely able to encircle one town, where they have been fighting for months.

I'm interested in Russia losing. Ukraine joining the west as an additional buffer state. Next is Belarus.
Once Ukraine and Belarus are both in the Western camp, and the people of Belarus are not that pro-Russian, Russia will be pushed into the periphery of Europe. The ideal situation would be the collapse of Russia and its breakup into various republics. That won't happen yet though. The next best thing is Russia being pushed out of Europe in terms of influence and a new security apparatus in central/Eastern Europe in addition to NATO, something akin to the already present guarantees that Finland and Sweden have. That will require the Americans and the Americans may actually go with it. The Yanks are currently doing things on the cheap though. The help is not enough for Ukraine. It's just enough to keep the Russians at bay but Ukraine needs to free itself and push the occupier out of its land.

How convenient that SkyNews is suddenly running an article on TV about how Ukraine is running out of artillery ammunition and how sad we should be for Ukraine because of that.
