Lady at work gave me a small leg of lamb.
Seared on the fire then into foil on the weber.

5 hours later.. Bones just popped out.
Wanted to make jaffels but going with snack witch. Left over meat will become a pie or.. Jaffels.

So my eldest enjoyed the peri-peri vegetable surprise so much that he asked for a repeat. He did make a special request to also have some of the vegetable peels. About the only part I enjoy so that's asking a lot!!

Im tapping out for a while
It has been a wonderful braai month
Having no tenants next door made it possible
Coz it is very frowned upon to braai with an open flame
Weber Q2000 no problem at all

New tenants moving in next door today in our complex
I have to go back to carbon neutral braais again
Looking forward to the rest of the braai pics this month

Tomorrow I go on leave and will be doing the 5 day Tsitsikama Overnight Slackpacking Hike
I get back next week Tuesday afternoon and will be going on a strict diet, only once a week braai and beers at the dam
I need to lose 8kg and get fit again
51 now, old age isn't for pussies.
