ANC gives De Ruyter seven days to lay criminal charges over corruption at Eskom or else...

i'm just confused as to why he went all out on TV instead of maybe escalating further than Pravin... there are i would assume processes to follow, given his position, but to me it just doesnt all add up..
He followed the process and nothing happened. Refer to post #83, not that hard man.

However this does ask the question as to why this wasn’t reported at the time ( which is what the ANC is asking too ).
He followed the process and nothing happened. Refer to post #83, not that hard man. Did no-one read the article or watch the video. I mean I understand if TheChamp reads past it, because he deliberately choses not to believe it. But the rest of the people asking why nothing was done... all you have to do is read/watch the interview.

So beyond Pravin, his only further escalation path is to Cyril, and the processes in place would not actually enable such a thing. Never underestimate how government structures do their best to limit the ability of someone to jump reporting lines.

There is also an element of the fact that he has reported these things, apparently, to Pravin, the police etc etc and sweet fek all is being done, so what is reporting it to Cyril going to change?
i get you, its just that he made all these statements publicly, so kinda needs to have his **** together with proof and also following procedure coz if he slipped up anywhere in the process, these guys will use it against him

Just listening to him, he doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would make these sorts of claims without something behind it to verify them.

I would also hazard a guess that he has followed all the official channels he needed to to raise these issues, and zero has come of it so as a parting gift he makes it public. Puts pressure on the incompetent corrupt twats at the top to MAYBE do something.

It is not the job of the whistleblower to investigate the crime. But please appreciate how he whistleblowed on the ANC guavamint not doing their job too. This man has an amazing set of balls, I'll give him that.. no wonder the ANC hates him so

Just read this, we are truly F@ked!
At least at this point in time much of the world is waking up to this form of "politics". Which seek influence, not by doing good, but rather by doing bad just to lay the blame at the feet of their opponents. While making mountains of money.
When Zuma wrung his hands at the Gupta breakfast saying that the ANC is open for business - This now is everything that I expected would occur in my worst and wildest nightmares.
Letting criminals gain substantial money inevitably affects politics negatively in favour of said criminals. Increasing criminality and entrenching criminality in politics.

And this noise from the ANC looks suspiciously like trying to distract from the real issue - That an oath bearing member of cabinet did not take up the matter. Oath Bearing. They won't even give indication of whistle-blower protection. I think I expect more leadership on the matter from a sworn in member of cabinet than the CEO of an SOE [sic]

It is a fair request, he is duty bound to provide evidence and speak out against corruption
Which he did, over and over again.

Did you read ANY of the numerous articles the past week?

If you did then you will know he reported it, as the law demands, to the police and State security. He also informed at least two ministers as well as the presidents personal advisors.

Eskom on several occasions, provided the police with all the evidence they would need for a successful prosecution, just to see the perpetrators walking free the following day by paying R500 bail, after the instruction from a high level police officer came through.

Did you read the part where ADR said they had a meeting with State Security where they gave them all the evidence they had.
Did you read the part where State Security acted shocked about the evidence provided and ensured everyone that "of course they will act" and then nothing happened?

It will all come out.
That sounds accurate, however, how orchestrated the corruption is might be an over exaggeration. I'm of the view that its fragmented chaos. If we had the scorpions they could use this intelligence to put a cork in this shyt show within a few months.

You are confusing issues here, was he talking of the sophisticated device in his car, the coffee poisoning or corruption
