I remember him from Reba where he starred as a not-so-smart high school football star who got the main character's daughter pregnant.

Reba was a good show come to think of it. It had some very funny moments. Easy light propagandaless comedy viewing. We don't get that much anymore honestly.

Gave it a go. Yes it is horrible. Had it been made in the 80's it would have been one of the top shows on TV.

However, his wife has a bit of a feisty hot mama thing going on so will try one or two more

If you grew up on this there is a very high chance you will like/love PF. How all the elements unfold. I really enjoy how well it is told & structure, an elite selection of guest stars add greatly as well. Natasha Lyonne nails the role imo.
