Dis-Chem lost R5.21 billion since no-whites letter

Not sure why there is so much hate towards Dischem, they are part of the system (Listed company) that needs to comply to BBEEE requirements or face fines. Now they are caught in the middle (will loose business from white South Africans and will possibly also face fines as they don't meet the BBEEE requiements. Geuss the big winner is independant pahramcies hope they us ethe opportuniy well!

We do not care about illegitimate laws. We break the company and make the law useless. Unfortunately, even those that were meant to benefit from the laws will fall, but that is their problem. Collateral damage.

They are too expensive unfortunately. I only use the local pharmacy for emergencies when I don't feel like driving to Clicks.
 
Other than that, I like what I am hearing.

While this is being implemented everywhere, some CEOs just know better than to send a letter like this :ROFL:

Also, I'm happy about this because Salt man refused to pay malls the full rental due during lockdown, claiming they get less business.
 
My wife goes to Dischem to buy shampoo and walks out with two trolleys full of who knows what. I will tell her she needs to up her game.
