SA media personality and radio legend Mark Pilgrim passes away

Sad news, been following his story like most on insta. His positivity right until the end was a real show of courage
 
It is sad news. Have had the pleasure of having a good few conversations with him when we worked in the same office park as Hot 102.7 and always positive thoughts and positivity that was bleeding from him. Always said that wish had the same positivty and go getter attitude as him. Also back in the Day when I was working for Fotocats(Cats Digital Expert) He use to do our voice overs for Radio adds when we had big events happening. So have had the great pleasure of working and fun times along side him.

he will be surely missed in the industry. Markie with his golden oldies/box of records You could always hear his smile on Radio never had to see it when could hear it.


it was around 11:30 that I heard the news yesterday that he had passed. Yes he did not look good past few weeks BUT I still held hope that he will beat cancer again. He was a fighter and never gave up. It is really sad that Cancer got the best of him.
He had some of the best Dr's looking after him.

I am speechless but I know the man with the Heart of Gold will RIP and is Dancing with the Angels along side Jeremy Manisfield & Kevin Savage
