SARS says politicians and leaders should open up their tax affairs

I hear you. But a lot is said on record and turns into dust.

The South African does not believe in checks and balances or milestones or diligence. The path of least resistance is the usual choice and for anything to do with the state, it means doing nothing beyond an initial press release. The press do nothing to follow up because they also follow the path of least resistance even if they're not partisan scum.
The press never forgets. Places like the Daily Maverick will drag this statement back up decades from now.

Heck forget the press. This FORUM never forgets. How many times have we seen the Zuma statement about the end of loadshedding?

Maverick is ok but has limited reach. All that hard work that lady put into VBS hasn't made a dent in the ANC's splinter faction.

Our forum is pretty cathartic but we all know we're just howling in the dark. It does however provide great insight into how low-IQ supporters of the regime think.

It's the law.
A law that SARS enforces selectively. It is problematic but then anything ANC related is problematic.

Maybe SARS should share all CRs tax returns and assessments for the last 5 years including his companies and the companies where he has beneficial interest. PIT, CIT, VAT and PAYE returns.

Perhaps then we can reconsider to suspend our doubts.

Like they once published your tax information in Beeld or how exactly are they applying it selectively?
