Best thing ever. My steak from Sunday tasted a lot like Angus beef.
So it looks like it's either a Pro Ukrainian terrorist group or direct involvement of the Ukrainian government.
Nope, it is just as relevant to this thread.Prove it in the correct thread.
I would compare Hersch's version to a C-grade movie full of plot holes. I have already noted in the other thread that a recreational diver can reach the pipe line on air. So the question then remains why did the US have to plan a multinational operation with so many moving parts when a single diver on air could do it?Nope, it is just as relevant to this thread.
Take your head out your rear for a minute and think. The US would be a major benefactor of the destruction of NS1 and NS2. The US now put forward a conspiracy theory that it was perpetrated by an independent group. This group has no affiliation with the US but they put forward the idea that it may be affiliated with Ukraine or even Russia so furthering the deflection away from the US; i.e. psychology 101. The group would have needed very special equipment and training to be able to pull this off. NS1 and NS2 were heavily encased in concrete which would have taken specialist explosives and skills. So all this happened without anybody knowing anything.
The source of the US intelligence....a single source that apparently whispered it to them after the detonation. So we must ignore an unnamed source from a credible investigative journalist but believe the "single source" of the US, a country who has a long history of lying about just about everything to everybody.
I'm ignoring the fact that most of this group were jumping up and down exclaiming it was Russia that did it which now seems to be the furthest from the truth.
Take a minute and examine the obvious. The US is trying to deflect away from themselves since the Hersh report came out. They needed a "scapegoat" story and I wouldn't put it past them to also further embellish the lie with a couple fall guys or even a "sudden shootout with the saboteurs which unfortunately left them all dead" as then the story may die with them. Now that last bit would make a good book.
I recall seeing a clip from some woman on the side of some or other conference about a month ago where she floated this story. I would love if I had saved that clip or could find it again because I laughed it off as so far-fetched that it would not even make a decent plotline for a C-grade movie.

How have the US benefitted?
Since you proclaim it was a major benefit, these should be quite easy to demonstrate.

The hardest part of the operation is finding exposed pipe and the required explosives. The USN dive tables allows for 5 minutes at 190 feet on air.And relied on an old spy, who spied for them in Norway as a teenager.

Hence me harping the 5 minutes since it requires 1 diver with a 15L tank and at most an hour dive time. That's without needing decompression.
According to the chart in your link you can dive at a depth of 190 feet for up to 30 minutes and use decompression stops on your way back up.
Anything over 30 minutes will require a decompression chamber upon resurfacing (this is a Navy requirement, not a steadfast rule. You could decompress under water here as well, it's just not practical because it takes so long).
The longest time mentioned on the table is 120 minutes but theoretically you can dive for days, you just need to decompress slowly afterwards.
EDIT:
Just looked up the deepest dive world record and this guy dove to 332 meters (1090 feet).
Took 12 minutes to get down and 15 hours to get back up because of all the decompression stops.
Apparently him and his support crew used over 100 tanks in the course of the dive.
Crazy stuff.
Unpossible. I have to on good authority by the extremely experienced diving gas pipe bombing experts in these threads that putin personally drained the ocean, planted the acme tnt and lit the match

When you realise that every other country except the US and maybe China wouldn't be able to wage war by itself.Second army of the world really out with the begging bowl. China, North Korea and Iran all need to supply the mighty russia stronk.
