Well in that case I will do you one better and take multiple hits for the team. Ukraine is f-d long term and will disintegrate as soon as the war stops and foreign aid dries up.... they NEED Russia to lose and pay reperations to stay afloat but even that probably wont be enough to stave off civil war.

Same thing I said a year ago.
If Ukraine didn't get those gas and mineral reserves. I'd be very interested to see how the EU and US treat Ukraine after whatever inevitable peace deal occurs.

Foreign aid won't dry up as long as Ukraine has something to offer. A fine motivator to keep up the good fight.

So in the end it's nothing personal just business? Say it aint so!

You heard about all the billions Western countries have seized from Russia? Yes? It will be Ukraines, thanks Putin.
The ones that the EU court blocked the EU from issuing because it's against international law to seize assets of a country and then use the proceeds of those assets to fund the enemy of those assets' country without also paying the owner of those assets...?

Those ones?

Source that its dead in the water? The EU is filled with bureaucracy and these things take a long time, i imagine that it will happen after the war or at least when things die down.

Areas in Ukraine with the biggest gas reserves

Which oblast does Russia control
The ones that Russia is literally starting to move over and pushing further towards, hence why Ukraine said Bakhmut was important but suddenly everyone pretends isn't.

Everything in the vicinity of Crimea is now denied to Ukraine.

That red section is literally where all the fighting is, and while the fighting continues it's also denied.

It's literally a war about gas and minerals.

I would compare Hersch's version to a C-grade movie full of plot holes. I have already noted in the other thread that a recreational diver can reach the pipe line on air. So the question then remains why did the US have to plan a multinational operation with so many moving parts when a single diver on air could do it?

Yes, they can. For 6 minutes only. And in the swift current, bad visibility and hypothermic temperatures of the Baltic. They may not surface in view of their support boat.

That's without needing decompression.

According to the chart in your link you can dive at a depth of 190 feet for up to 30 minutes and use decompression stops on your way back up.

Anything over 30 minutes will require a decompression chamber upon resurfacing (this is a Navy requirement, not a steadfast rule. You could decompress under water here as well, it's just not practical because it takes so long).

The longest time mentioned on the table is 120 minutes but theoretically you can dive for days, you just need to decompress slowly afterwards.

EDIT:

Just looked up the deepest dive world record and this guy dove to 332 meters (1090 feet).
Took 12 minutes to get down and 15 hours to get back up because of all the decompression stops.
Apparently him and his support crew used over 100 tanks in the course of the dive.
Crazy stuff.

What nobody is considering is that the Baltic is very cold, has swift current, bad visibility and bad weather.

And referencing the outlier diver that did his deep dive in perfect conditions after months of preparation does not mean anybody can do it.

Second army of the world really out with the begging bowl. China, North Korea and Iran all need to supply the mighty russia stronk.

The plot may be thickening. What did that Russian Cargo ship load in SA at Simon's Town? Could it be the old Russian arms and ammunition that were captured by the SADF in Angola?

Yeah of course not "anybody" can do it. You need to be an experienced diver.

Point is you don't need a submarine or anything that would require you to be a government operative.

Bro, you're still posting jokes. Can you not tell it's sarcasm.

You didnt answer my question, which of those three oblasts does Russia control? Your map doesn't show quantity.
