You sure do spend an exorbitant amount of time imagining Elon in the men's cubicle...

You believe he didn't have his own people go over these things? In what world are you living in. Would be funny if it turns out Hara boy was the one who broke the agreement. After all twitter interactions are hardly ever the full story :p

It seems $100m payout is enough.

LOL!

Undone by the same instinct that undid Phony Stark.

All-in battle first, fact check later.

The deletions and walk back are lawyers’ input, everything up to that point was all Elon… Oh, and creating hypothetical outcomes that would justify your initial response is almost as sad as Elon’s non-apology apology.

If these folks were salaried employees treated in their own jobs the way Elon is treating people they would flip the lid. They would form unions. They would have their lawyers on speed dial. They would riot in the streets like they are Parisians in France. They would appear on Fox News to decry how much they are being tread on. They would petition their politicians to strengthen worker rights. They would call out the bad companies on social media and call for boycotts.

Exactly, and they know it too... But Elon dumps on folks they think are beneath them so they adore him and will never quit him.

This.

I've also yet to see any evidence at all any ANY form for any of the justifications for his behavior:
* Fired employees are leftist
* Fired employees are woke
* Fired employees didn't do any work
* Fired employees were lazy
* etc

They just say these things to gaslight themselves into supporting literally idiotic and insane business practices. In reality bet the fired employees were just ordinary people from across the political, philosophical and performance spectrum just trying to do their jobs and live their lives.

"After all twitter interactions are hardly ever the full story" <-- still true

You really have a warped idea of what constitutes an "all-in" approach. Meanwhile its a "couldn't give a rats ass" about twitter drama. Anyway have fun with your Elon cubicle fantasies :ROFL:

What I find weird about this latest Musk f*** up is that he blames others for giving him the wrong information... Surely any CEO worth anything should have trustworthy people around him to inform him about things like this?

Ah the idiotic takes are hillarious. Kinda miss these type of replies in the other thread

Y’all need to Google acqui-hires, Ueno, and Haraldur Thorleifsson.

I suspect the scene at Elon’s twitter HQ looked something like Elon in the men’s room cubicle tweeting, his two ex-Mossad bodyguards guarding the cubicle, and outside the locked men’s room door, twitter legal folks screaming at Elon to stop tweeting.

At Haraldur’s house, the scene probably looked more like Haraldur’s lawyer saying, ‘Now type this and send it’.

Sure, Elon can fire him, but it breaches the acquisition contract and he’ll now owe Haraldur the full balance of the purchase price for Ueno… Also, Elon’s almost certainly fallen foul of the ADA, and there will be damages to add to that lump sum payment.

Elon Musk. Rake-stepping world champion.
Elon Musk walking it back after his lawyers told him he was about to walk into the "Finding Out" part of the FAFO mantra.

Elon must have been bullied really severely in Pretoria Boy's.

His behaviour was classic. Pushing for a big pile-on from his fanboys to drive the narrative that before he got there, nobody did any work.

I love how all his fanboys live vicariously through Elon. All taking on the role of a senior manager and pile on the employee, demanding that he answer to Johnbunchofnumbers about what his role at Twitter was.

It was entertaining watching him walk right into that mess.

Its the problem when you just hire yes men that are there to massage your ego. I wouldn't be surprised if he also just read some twitter posts and took it as gospel which he usually does.

Amazing reading the sentiment on reddit. Was a time everyone seemed to love the guy. Quite the opposite now.

I'm sure there are some exaggerations some places(and this instance, it might even be one manager) - just his interactions through his own Twitter account and the things happening in public tend to lend more proof to the things that happen behind closed doors. Twitter also isn't the only company people have complained about him.

I think the more that comes to light, slowly people are realizing he isn't this amazing guy, he is just an ******* boss that gets results.
