It will end eventually. Gradually. But not by any intervention from government or Eskom, but as the private sector catches up with their own generation. Eskom will never return to its former glory as the sole state energy provider. It will always exist in some forms or another sure but I think the sooner we accept this the happier we will be. Eskom now a fast fading remnant of the past. South Africa has to make its own plan or wait until the pyramids are nothing but dust for government to fix it. Time to move on.
