Whatever exactly happens in the future, murica is a house of cards thats hollowing itself out. Personally I don't think it even can recover anymore even if it gets it's act together, something drastic is going to change.Still no chance.
Nah, it'll be just fine regardless of a few hiccups here and there.Whatever exactly happens in the future, murica is a house of cards thats hollowing itself out. Personally I don't think it even can recover anymore even if it gets it's act together, something drastic is going to change.
Agree to disagree.Nah, it'll be just fine regardless of a few hiccups here and there.
Nope. I have been fortunate enough to visit the US twice, once on a work trip but stuck on the East Coast both times. I can tell you there is a sense of dynamism you don't get in SA. And there are a lot more patriotic Americans than patriotic South Africans, which I think gives a brief indicator of the health of a country.Whatever exactly happens in the future, murica is a house of cards thats hollowing itself out. Well yes actually. Teachers should just teach that it happened, they should not teach a stance on it whatever it is.
Lol government employees, not the brightest. The teacher and superintendent, whatever that is.
No, how will the kids know it was wrong if you just give them the facts of slavery. Impossible.Well yes actually. Teachers should just teach that it happened, they should not teach a stance on it whatever it is.
At this point it actually would lower tensions considerably.Yes. In fact, every country should make it illegal for a teacher to say that slavery is bad. The world would be a better place.
Not the place of teachers, that's the place of parents and religious leaders.... unless everyone wants teachers to be minor religious leaders again like they were in the past?Lol government employees, not the brightest. The teacher and superintendent, whatever that is.

For teachers the closest you can come is explaining how slavery is an ineficient means of labour. Keep it technical and devoid of morals. Stick to the facts not opinions.Anyway they can certainly teach slavery was wrong. They are just not allowed to teach CRT which is: Slavery happened therefore white people bad. A complete teaching of how bad slavery is would include the origin of most slaves and how they were captured by other black African tribes, sold to the Portuguese and then Americans and how Britain ended the slave trade because it is bad, they could also mention it was normal up to that point in all countries and there's still slavery in Libya and some places, but because of Christianity we now recognize all life as special and all people as Gods creation, who you should not mistreat.
Absolutely, I mean, we all are slaves at our work, innit? It doesn't feel that bad really. They should stop saying nasty things about hitler, idi amin, mugabe as well. They obviously had their issues but who doesn't ?Yes. In fact, every country should make it illegal for a teacher to say that slavery is bad. The world would be a better place.
Weird - as far as I know there's more pilot jobs than pilots at the moment especially in the US - the issue has more to do with the caliber and experience of the pilots than any diversity nonsense. The good ones are lured to Dubai, Qatar, Abu Dhabi etc for massive pay etc.
