Its part of their foreign policy that Cyril just said he loves so much but the idiots are too dumb to see that policy is actually preying on them lol.
TheChamp and Surface was having a circle jerk in the other thread that China is best!! lol

I have little problem with us calling on the Chinese, my actual problem is that we shouldn't be in this position to begin with. I remain in the view that we should balance our interests, investing too much into one will lock us in which could result in us being dependent on them.

As I pointed out in the other thread, the Chinese don't broker simple deals, which begs the question, do we have the security to back Chinese support or could we risk losing ownership? We need to exercise control.

I'm of the mind that if SA wants help it will either be from Russia or China in terms of building infrastructure, why wouldn't you especially when they're your BRICS choms.

You give them a mine here and there, maybe let them build a navy base or port one exchange for stable supply

*waits for Zameside to roll in proclaiming how this will save us all and we'll get a high speed rail line as a free gift*

Can we not ask China to help with our ANC government's corruption too?

Apparently they don't take too kindly to govt officials incompetence & corruption.

After installation of the power plants, we won't get any spares to keep the units running, like with the locomotives. They are now useless.
