China now manages three of Israel’s four ports for the next quarter of a century. Chinese companies, again government owned, have also outbid Israeli and European companies on the supply of buses. All of these bids were suspiciously much lower than the competing bids. Essentially, the Chinese government is subsidizing these bids as a tactic to win the tenders.

Israel is little America, China is trying desperately to control one little slice of the Middle east,
I mean China will build in Lebanon and Syria and Turkey to build up its belt and road initiative.
difference there is they wont start with those predatory loans and importing of Workers because the Host Governments wont let them so easily.
they will do something a lot more subtle, like donating Pandas to the Local Zoo,

in Africa meanwhile, its open season for China, they can practically buy the entire country for Cheap,
rather than somewhere less easily bribed like Israel,

I anticipate DIRCO bending over backwards to give China anything they want, and then some.

Good. The Chinese can built faster with less issues. Sure they started somewhere getting German engineers. Now they do it much faster. Just look at how fast their high speed railway is being rolled out. The Americans and Europeans dont come close. America doesnt even have high speed railway at all really.

Nope the Chinese gets down and simply delivers. Do not you get different quality Chinese items. If SA just wants to but the cheap stuff, so be it. But they manufacture all the original items (Iphones, Lenovo, HP, etc) as well.

You are aware that Europe moves in and sells guns etc to a country's warlords then try to get their minerals.Chins builds their infrastructure up so its easier to get it?

More clever and less violent.

I'd say, let the Chinese build generating capacity and sell electricity to us. They own the stuff they build and need to maintain it. Same as if we were to import electricity, except it is on home soil and more stable supply.
We get fast development and we owe nothing.
Africa will always be owned, so about time we choose the best owner. The US is nothing but paper money and a massive army. Europe will become less relevant when they run out of energy resources.

They have zero experience with our low quality coal so will not be able to build stuff that will work imho.
 
I'm sure China already picked out which ports and things they want to claim when the cadres can't pay the loans back because they spent it on flashy cars and whiskey hand wash

Look at Zambia... Chinese didn't build the roads (and maintain) they were suppose to.. but took all the copper etc.

Chinese isn't friendly... they will take without delivering goods.
