Premier Winde fumes after Western Cape deputy speaker hosts British anti-vax doctor in legislature

They would say they do. But there's no oil, so the WC cannot expect any real support.

The West just have good PR but their morals are as messed up as those they claim to be against. As I pointed out before, they are happily taking money from brutal regimes.

I heard beetroot cures covid. If the world would only eat more beetroot.

This isin't the first time that Winde has gone against what the DA have said on their official messaging. He also does not seem to use any DA branding on his official channels.

Apparently so is Winde. Western Cape independence cannot happen soon enough.
Winde would still be leader if that unicorn could somehow be magicked. That wouldn't solve your vaxx problem, antivaxxers would still be a minority in that new born republic.

The West is at least as corrupt through to the core as pre-Imperial Rome was.

Could it be that Winde.... is full of hot winde?

He most likely supports the DA but definitely does not agree with them on everything and is not a loyalist.

He does not comment on internal party politics so we don't know how he feels to the likes of Zille and Steenhuisen.

Correct, he is not against vaccines. His concern is about the mRNA vaccine.

It would certainly benefit anti-vaxxers to label people who are concerned over covid vaccinations as anti-vaxxers.

What is the benefit to the West backing the Western Cape?
The same can be said with the West's presence in various countries around the world.

Just one example would be selling clean energy. I'm sure you can think of others, in your ripe, wise age.

Why would they want to sell clean energy to the Western Cape and piss off RSA, when RSA is the bigger market in the region for that sort of thing?

I don't need to think of benefits, you are the one claiming the West would back it, so WHY would the West back it in your mind?

Because SA is aligned with BRICS?

A market of 5 million people is a market nonetheless.

Our time is done. Follow/ask the DA-run Western Cape who/why they are seemingly aligning with the West.

So you don't actually have a real answer then do you?

Maybe the DA are aligning with the "West" because ideologically its where they are, rather than Russia/China.

Just as a heads up, and this MIGHT blow your mind, if the DA magically came into power in SA they may not actually leave BRICS.

Maybe not, but I'm sure they will vote against Putin’s invation of Ukraine and hopefully support sanctions against Russia.

Yeah, absolutely, I would expect general condemnation of the actions of Russia from a DA led government...

And yes it might get us ejected from BRICS, but at the same time maybe not since as small as our market is it is a market that they can access in some ways, even if we implemented the sanctions (since they are relatively targetted)
