I love it - in fact it is now the only option I offer on BidOrBuy. No more post office or Aramex.Pudo. It works, it's fast and cheap. Even in the deep platteland. Leave it up to the private sector.
For once I entertained a spam call trying to sell me car insurance. After 15 minutes and being transferred twice they could not even get within R100 of my current insurance - add to that they had a hefty excess whereas I have R0![]()
Oh the disappointment and disbelief on the other side was priceless. I wasted their time and it felt good.
Ja I agree, no need really for any of the others.I love it - in fact it is now the only option I offer on BidOrBuy. No more post office or Aramex.
I did tell the first guy on the call what he needs to beat - but they work in stages. Once the poor sod doing the dial work has a "victim" on the line they pass you one to their "supervisor". She had was not told what that figure to beat was. I guess it's for the better as it made her sound more disappointed.I did this once but told them upfront that they would never be able to beat what I currently pay for my car insurance, the sound of disappointment at the end of the call when I told them my car is insured by my employer and I don’t pay any premiums, was deafening…
Nice nest egg.![]()

So how does SARS recover that money, great that it was granted, but how much will actually be recovered and how will they be negatively affected moving forward?Nice nest egg.
But everything's most probably spent now.
