EFF plans national shutdown to protest load shedding, call for Ramaphosa to resign

Any idea how tires suddenly appear out of nowhere close to busy intersections like R23 and Heidelberg road in Boksburg. The security company and metro spent some time clearing it up.
The same way looters and thugs suddenly appear when a truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere . . . Magic :-p

I'd love to see how they got to this figure. They already getting their fixed salary per month. They have to now transport them so some diesel. And?

I think a lot has to do with estimates on deployment costs. Like you mentioned diesel, extra wear and tear. Military equipment gets very expensive on servicing when you start putting hours into it. Theoretically a soldier is supposed to consume many more calories when deployed as well. I think the costing is more of a combat based estimate imo.

Fair enough. But I highly doubt that this is something the ANC can calculate. I'm going with thumb suck.

Or many KFC meals.

You started well, then descended into the ordinary broederbond thinker.

You know the costs are not calculated at Luthuli House, right? Just because you are unable to calculate the cost it doesn't mean the educated people who are employed to deal with this stuff also can't.

No it can definitely be calculated but like normal government budgets there will be a lot of fat and spending wastage there I'm sure.
