EFF plans national shutdown to protest load shedding, call for Ramaphosa to resign

It's a good thing they started today so that the cops can stay awake for tomorrow, I have always wondered why the strikers are always able to wake up early and close the N1 and the cops only realise the highway is closed when people are going to work.

Which section of N1 is this going to work time closing happening with any regularity?

By the looks of it, pretty much as everyone expected. Looting and burning

Yes that part was a well known, im talking about us knowing if this is going to escalate into a something (ie july riots) or fizzle out into a nothing. The next few hours will determine that.

I do find it funny though that we suddenly have so much electricity for some reason. No loadshedding at all this weekend. And police doing their jobs for a change patrolling the streets.
