A Fox News producer on Monday filed a pair of explosive lawsuits against the right-wing talk channel, alleging that the network’s lawyers coerced her into providing misleading testimony in Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation case against the company.

The lawsuits filed by Abby Grossberg, who worked as a senior booking producer for Maria Bartiromo and most recently head of booking for Tucker Carlson, accused Fox’s legal team of having engaged in wrongful conduct as it prepared her for a pre-trial deposition in the election technology company’s case.

The lawsuits from Grossberg, who has since been placed on administrative leave by Fox, were filed in Delaware Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Former, FOX producer. He seems a bit disgruntled.

Just got to this point and knew this was absolute communist s**t!

against the right-wing talk channel,

There seems to be more to this than claimed.... whatever it is.

From a BBC article,
In a last-minute settlement before trial, the network agreed to pay $787.5m (£644m) - about half of the $1.6bn initially sought by Dominion.
Dominion argued its business was harmed by Fox spreading false claims the vote had been rigged against Donald Trump.

They're going to settle out of court in the Grossberg case.

Very expensive lawsuit:
Fox News is a crock. Of s**t. A poisoned chalice. In as much as s**t can be toxic.

I actually hope that the judge doesn't approve of the settlement. Of course on the other hand it would leave OAN and Newsmax all by their lonesome. Not to mention Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Mike Lindell. So if the judge approves the settlement, then at least some or other lying ahole's going to to choke.

Is it really? I mean they would have $787.5m less than what they had earlier but isn't it like fining musk 1 billion dollars? Must be pocket change for fox.

It is a substantial amount of money:
"It's obviously a significant number, and we shouldn't dismiss that. I mean, it is a really, really large number," Angelo Carusone, president of left-leaning media watchdog Media Matters for America, told the BBC.

To put the payout into context, parent company Fox Corporation reported net income of $1.23bn for the last financial year

It is also sitting on large reserves of cash - around $4bn, according to recent company filings.

Imagine having a $4billion war chest, this fine isn’t even going to affect daily operations one bit, there’s literally going to be no pain other than Rupert Murdoch sleeping in the fetal position for a few days as he comes to terms with flushing almost $1billion down the drain.

fox is supported by significant % of USA population so I don't think it is a big deal tbh.
Fox is probably really happy that their victim card will be stamped a few times, knowing how much cachet that will have with their target audience..
