It's always been there, pumped storage, it's just noticable when they use it like baseload all day over public holiday/long weekend when they suspended loadshitting.

Also the same time our captured media decided to do the fluff piece.

Why don't our media re-interview Mr Sparkles when we are at stage 6 level next month again.

Ah, so it's the angle then, optimized for winter. The rain must clean them nicely.

At Ankerlig today. I love that painting of a rainbow behind the huge diesel plants, Eskom must have quite an art collection :)

It's just due to the pitch of the roof. Don't have a choice. Also, being almost exact on North facing helps.

As for the rain, yeah I think it helps - I am tempted to get @Neuk_ out with his broom and hosepipe to wash them. He had a great experience last time he did his...

You couldn't afford my fee's for this service, in fact since I did this service for myself I can't afford the fee's for this service for myself.

I think all the piggies are back to happily feeding, so the sabotage has come to an end, the only thing left to contend with is the general unreliability of the coal fleet, hopefully, De Ryters maintenance drive over the years has had an impact on that.
