Why don't we see 1000s of threads on the Bible's stance on adultery? That is actually one of the ten commandments, while being gay is not. But no Christian ever brings that up in threads as if they're policing God's laws on earth..
Religious threads are generally started by atheist that want to justify their lifestyle. Homosexuality is controversial.

Adultery isn't. We would all just agree it is wrong and move on

What does this have to do with religion now? I know plenty of gay Christians.

Plenty of Christian people quote Leviticus to justify hating on gays, while I admire and support your interpretation, it's by no means universal.
Where? You would never see that unless you specifically go and look for it.

Then why can't you lot just agree that some people are gay, shouldn't be subject to govt sanction or extermination because if it & move on?

I already agreed to all of that.

Quote the whole thing, and quote the actual text, not the heretical NIV.

"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
"There is none other commandment greater than these."

They override everything.
You remind me of Dawah guys, the Islamic gymnasts. Different flavor, same skills.

There is quranic verse approving of women beating. Dawah guys - oh now, that is totally out of context and overridden by 2.45 by Mohammed.
