Protector probing Tshwane mayor

Pretoria - Public Protector Thuli Madonsela is investigating allegations of corruption, mismanagement and nepotism against Tshwane Mayor Kgosientso "Sputla" Ramokgopa.

Madonsela's spokesperson Kgalalelo Masibi confirmed the probe on Tuesday as Ramokgopa welcomed the investigation at a news briefing.

He told reporters in Pretoria he was aware of the allegations and that a complaint had been lodged with the public protector.

At the time of the briefing, he had not yet been formally notified of an investigation, the mayor said.

The allegations seem to have been an internal struggle, but I won't know. This controversy, however, did not end in 2011, and not only limit to this. It is up to the media to dig up skeletons and reports covered in dust.

It's a special kind of stupid that spends 12 million on upgrades to a property worth only 5 million, and then sold for 5 million. But not if it is money that does not belong to you.

And it certainly shows a mentally challenged mind when presenting Pretoria residents with a 950 million rand debt, just because he feels like it. PEU and Ramakgopa are a bunch of cnuty fsckrs.

The Ramakgopa Dynasty is clearly a bunch of inept ANC klingons. The ANC feeding trough at Eskom has just grown wider to accommodate them in feeding off it.

Enjoy being a piggy whose teats are raw.

In the run up to the 2024 elections, expect millions to be stolen by the anc to fund their election/kfc promotion campaign. Although I think we could finally be free of the anc in 2024, it would still take decades to return all that was stolen, and fix all that they ****ed up.

Who cares he promised nothing higher than stage 6.
Max load shedding level is 18 I hear. So level 6 is 33%. Sounds about right. This is about the only instance where under 30% pass mark is a good thing.

Why is a week-old article being rehashed?

Time dilation.

From that article there is this (with no expiry date):
Ramokgopa said those who made the allegations against him were welcome to do so.

"We are going to co-operate and provide the necessary support," he said.

"Even the person of the executive mayor must be subjected to scrutiny. It gives the public the confidence in the political principal to run a clean administration."
If he has forgotten, he should be reminded that he welcomed scrutiny.
