Pick n Pay ‘AIM’ brand TVs

So anybody bought or found out more about these new AIM's. Will soon have to buy one. My problem is this 1 year warrantee.
So you can still get the 60" UHD for 5k. non smart.
Or I can maybe get a 55" Hisense Uled secondhand for 5k
Don't like buying tv's secondhand, but with this 1 year warrantee on the AIM, on the secondhand Hisense there is still 2 year warrantee left.
So what will be the best option? No I don't want to spend more. this is the main tv in the house, but almost nobody watch on it. Wife in daughter watch in rooms, and me and son will mostly watch F1 on it once in a while and I will watch Netflix some evenings. Don't care about smart tv.

My mum still uses the 60 inch I bought on black friday from PnP Home Online. I got it with free 6 pack pepsi and R200 off coupon and because I bought it only I got ~R500 (10%) back in smart shopper at a rate of R50 per month so it was a really good deal.

The panel and the sound is really good for a R4800 60 inch with all the freebies.

As mentioned by I think Dan is that it has HDMI 1.2 I think which means it supports 4k @ 30Hz and 1080p @ 60Hz. At first I was okay that is a big drawback but not really. Have a look at the 2160p movies and series released on popular torrent sites and you will see most of them are at 25fps so you don't notice it. You do notice it on high quality pictures and in that case a high quality 1080p release at 60 fps looks really good on this panel.

I would suggest load maybe a few videos on a flash and go to a pnp home. They have all of these tv's on display for you to have a look at if you have that option.

Thanks. Yes I don't know much about tv's. Wife and daughter mainly watch tv and they watch in their rooms. So I don't want to spend much, but also not want something will have flaws in the next few years. I don't replace tv's too often. And this will replace a 15year old LG HD tv so anything will probably look better and I would not know what to look for between good and bad tv picture.

F1 is 1080p I think so that would not be a problem. What fps does Netflix and Disney+ stream 4k? In general, not on the AIM tv. And if you rent a movie on Google play and those sites, is it 4k at more than 30fps?

I'm not sure maybe someone else can weigh in on the 1080p @ 60Hz vs 2160p @ 30Hz debate. I would say for gaming like console you rather want to game at 1080p 60Hz and movies,tv series and tv the 2160p 30Hz is fine but maybe someone else can elaborate a bit.

Thanks. Yes don't think kids will ever game on it, or at least have a console that can do 4k 60fps. I am actually going to sell the PS4 as it is just used to watch Netflix.
Just want to make sure most movies or tv will not be in 4k over 30 fps and this tv can't do it

I get 4K60 on my 58" AIM (CZ built) with a Ematic android box. Have not seen any 4K option on the other 58" my mom uses but it could be a limitation of her Mi TV box.

Quick question, I recently bought a second hand one of these and I was wondering if I can connect a soundbar to it via a optical output line?

I bought this one, 58" AIM 4K CZ1958 UHD TV

Depending on if it has an optical out - look what it has at the back.
