Users aren't down though, and nowhere close to the 8-9% la-la land figure you claimed. Probably some Buzzfeed article you read?
The forecasts for it's user base growth still looks very good.

Revenue is down comparatively due to advertisers flaking and as stated previously this wasn't because of "user flight" nor "valuation concerns".

Revaluation is just a number as can be seen from the overvaluation prior to take over. As is the $20B Musk recently stated.
It's meaningless as the company isn't being traded and much more likely a convenient tax write-off.
It would be odd if the valuation remained the same considering the loss of advertisers, no?
Luckily they cut a lot of fat from the company.

Check out this verified guy. Since he pays his $8, due to his volition his views on Eugenics should carry more weight than Le Bron's views on basketball?

I mean he paid for it and Le Bron did not.

Hence in your eyes he is more credible.

And thanks to the new ranking system his tweets are promoted. He gained 15k followers in a week.

His anti-Trans tweets have done very well. Not surprising given the alignment with Nazism and anti-Trans ideologies. Which helped boost his follower numbers.

I don't follow Le Bron, but I would much rather read a tweet from him about him taking a dump, than I would about a guy who wants to exterminate Jews, black people, trans people and gay people. Genocide isn't that great.

If influential people, let's take Le Bron for sake of argument, uses the platform of their own violition it implies they have a measure of trust in the platform.
This is the opposite of being there because they're paid to. How can this simple concept be so hard?

The measure of trust in the platform existed with how people use to be verified.

Paying for verification took that trust away. Le Bron was never looking to be paid to tweet, he trusted the platform because of how he and others were verified. He does not need twitter. Twitter needs

No that verification was very skewed and resulted in a type of fake authority cudgle.
The paid for is in-line with monetisation approach going forward with expanded features.
Ideally they can implement a verification separate from the monetisation, but then they'll not be entitled to the extra features and they'll have to pay a once off fee for the verification process. Sounds fair right?
