To quote myself and @ToxicBunny:
P.S. If people start harking back to the ****ing old regime, then you know you have completely ****ed up as a government.
Its not the first time I've heard that sentiment and I doubt it will be the last...

But when your rank and file citizens who were oppressed under the old regime start harking back to it (even if its just a small percentage) then there is something fscked up about how you work with your own citizens. Its something I've noticed many times dealing with public/civil servants in many different departments.. they're doing you a favour by even acknowledging your presence. They get very miffed when you put them right back in their place though.

Another horror story from the areas/constituencies the ANC claims they're serving...

Such a shyte show really :(

Makes me so mad that our senior citizens are treated the way they are... just a small amount of humanity and this wouldn't be such an issue.

Soweto's Poor and Elderly Voted for ANC and they taught their future Generations to vote for ANC. They deserve every bit of suffering. You reap what you sow. Let them suffer indefinitely.
As much as I want to hate myself for typing this, here I go:

The ANC that promised a united South Africa is not the same as the ANC that is in power today. The populace of South Africa, especially the elderly, are continually disempowered by the ANC due to their utter lack of skills and incompetence in running a country and caring for its people.

It died in Polokwane in 2007.

“Back then there was discipline in the municipality’s offices, the government was managing the system very well, and in the old days if you didn’t do your job properly you had to account for poor management.

“If you were an old man or lady, you were serviced first and went home. Today old people are standing in line till they feel their knee bones are about to burst.
Imagine that! The apartheid government had more concern for the elderly than their own government, of their own people, has for them..
Mkhabela says she misses the old days when white people were in charge.

“There were lots of jobs, it was easy to get domestic work, factories work, and others were fixing roads. Life was easy: if the police would find you walking around in the streets looking for work they would take you to the nearest factories or wherever there are workplaces.
Also this..

Maybe the solution is for people to stop being racist and start voting for white people to govern?

Ok, now the important part, who is going to take TheChamp to hospital for his apoplexy?

I am sure there are a lot of wrong things happening that should be done better, but the irony is always when people cannot admit to their own role in the mess they find themselves in.
Do you mean these now old, old people voting for the ANC that now ignores them?

They still voted for corrupt ANC a few years back, They praise Zuma and fear him like he is God, They will continue to vote for ANC come next elections. They can suffer slowly until they all disappear for all I care.

Likewise saying things were better under Apartheid is more in regards to things working instead of having to address everyone as baas and being forced to live in a different neighbourhood.
