This rings true with any party. Most of them have ingrained voter bases that are quite loyal.

The people saying that are the old timers though and they are a very small percentage. Their votes will not affect the outcome.

It is the hate filled and un-educated new generation that keeps the ANC in power. Some of them even post here quite often....

But shyte didnt work under apartheid. Shyte only worked VERY well for a small percent of the population.

Patients using Baragwanath 30 or so years and now beg to differ.
Even CIC acknowledged that in those days there was clinic in willage where his granny lived.
It was bad regime but many services were provided (available to everybody) that are not up to standard compared (or non existent now) to those times.

You can only blame yourselves. You vote and still vote with your emotions instead of your head. The ANC play on your hopes and fears and use them against you to maintain a hold over you.

Electricity was only available for 50% of the population. Life expectancy has now increased. People now have access to education (instead of an education system that prepared them to be labourers- as Verwoerd stated that black minds cannot comprehend abstract things like Mathemathics).

For example. In some areas- parties in minority areas can sometimes field very credible, clean, qualified and innovative candidates. Versus a DA candidate who didnt complete school, who has even been accused of dealing drugs and who has been perpetually off sick during their last term. People would vote for the DA candidate in some minority areas- not because of the candidates credentials but because of party loyalty.
