So the rich must work harder to support the unemployed, which are a result largely of the Government.

Fastest way to increase employment is to disincentivize unemployment. We need an unemployment tax. If you don’t have a job, you have to pay R1000 a month to government.

Attempting to tax SA out of the socialist mess the anc created. Because let's punish the biggest fiscal contributors and reward the useless parasites. Why not give performance bonuses for for more children birthed as well while we're doubling down on the **** for brains ideas

First make the 60 million grant recipients work 20 days a month, 8 hours a day for that R350 - Forced community services. Make them clean streets, parks, beaches, residential areas, build and fix roads and more. Then we can talk about taxing the rich to pay that R350 grant. No work, no pay.

The wealth tax would possibly be linked to a land tax and, ideally, be aimed at the top 5% of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and estates with significant assets.
Bureau for Economic Research economist Hugo Pienaar said there are only 133,000 super-wealthy South Africans with a taxable income of over R1.5 million.
Now watch these greedy ***** target everyone with property valued at R1.5m+ as well as HNWI.

You forget middle class is super wealthy in SA these days.

IMO if you are in CPT or Joberg, you need to be making 1 million + a year to be comfortably in the middle class

In smaller towns maybe 600K and you can afford a small 2nd hand car and a townhouse and still save R500 a month
