A teenager was shot by a homeowner after going to the wrong house to pick up siblings, Kansas City police say

I think he is trying to point out the victim mentality of black America. A group of black males beat down and savagley attack a white women andf no one seekms to care. because the mob are eternal victims eternally.
Perhaps people should care, people getting beaten or shot in the head for ringing a doorbell are both things that shouldn't happen in society. I agree, a beating like that should get more coverage and hopefully the victim is okay but because incidents like that don't get coverage doesn't mean that people should be okay with un unarmed kid being shot twice in the head.

Edit: Apparently the kid was shot twice, but only once in the head.

But if it was a group of whites beating down a black women it would be the George Floyd riots all over again.

Still not relevant to this topic and also highlights how people keep trying to take away from the issues and make it about something else.

It's like asking what's for dinner and getting a whole life story.

I'm not saying the kid getting shot is ok. The guy that shot him should be charged with murder because that is exactly what it was. But when the roles are reversed it doesn't seem to be a big deal.

Yarl, 16, was “shot twice and struck in the head and arm,” the family’s attorneys said in a statement.

Same kid being referred to here?

I tend to disagree, people getting shot for doing nothing wrong is usually considered a big deal.

It's right there in the articles. There were no verbal exchanges. The man behind the door just started shooting.

There was no verbal exchange so why does everybody jump on the hate crime bandwagon. Do people know what he was thinking in his head before shooting in order to make it a hate crime.

This is not the first time something like this has happened and won't be the last. The only reason why there is so much outrage is because the kid is black.

Similar incident about the same time girl gets shot in driveway while car is reversing moving away from homeowner. No outrage, no constant media updates every 5min, can't even get $50k GoFundMe while other case is ~$2M, no celebrities going gagga, no phonecall from Biden & co with invitations to visit white house. And unlike the other kid she's actually dead and never got to ring a bell.

Two very similar cases with very different reactions.

Just know this: when the article headline includes the race of the perp and/or victim, there is an agenda - whether the crime was 100% racially motivated or not.
