entry level 320d

Brake checking someone is a fantastic way to have an awkward conversation on the side of the road and a lengthy insurance claim. It’s not worth it. That’s the best case scenario. Worst case is they rear end you and you lose control and get crushed under the 18-wheeler in the next lane.
I have a saying, if I overtook you on the left, you should not have been in that lane. So, I have done the following:
Car in right lane doing 90km/h (N1, Malibongwe), about 7 cars behind it. Me doing 120km/hr middle lane. Passed slow driver and moved over to right lane. Took foot off the accelerator, slowly dropping speed. Slow car decides to move over to left lane. Sped up again to 120km/hr and moved over to left to let cars behind me pass.
And I cn confirm, I am..
Ja ja, I heard that you went to the 'Rok side...although I can't blame you with those dongas you guys call potholes.I roll a 20D these days... but its just ever so slightly bigger and more scary than a BMTroubleU
Also I live in Durbs, we don't have a "Fast Lane"... its the "Fsck Everyone else I'm doing 90km/h lane" these days.
Yeah I did... after our last "interaction" with nature and the amazeballs ability of our city leaders to fix anything over a year later, I need a 4x4 to get out of my neighbourhood these days almost.Ja ja, I heard that you went to the 'Rok side...although I can't blame you with those dongas you guys call potholes.
I've heard some scary stories of people being followed home, after a flashing. In my day it was a personal affront meaning your tjorrietje was too slow and that the person behind wanted to dice.
I only flash people that are sleeping at the wheel.Because most people do it when they shouldn't.
You should only do it if it's clear that the car in front of you is not making any effort to move over when it is clearly safe to do so and was given a reasonable amount of time to do so.
Such is life, I guess. I went the opposite and traded the platkar for an even platter kar, but my next move will likely have to be something with more ground clearance (but not an SUV). I believe on my car you can shim the subframes a bit to gain 2-3cm without throwing out the steering geometry too much.Yeah I did... after our last "interaction" with nature and the amazeballs ability of our city leaders to fix anything over a year later, I need a 4x4 to get out of my neighbourhood these days almost.
316i is entry level yes, but a 320d oh no far far from it
XC60 T6 with PolestarJust curious what car do you drive now?

It's a Capetown thing.I've heard some scary stories of people being followed home, after a flashing.
If i've been coming up behind you at 170kph and you can see that gap closing fast and you still don't move i mean come on... you're wither blind, shouldn't have a license or aren't moving on purpose in which case you're going to get all 1 million watts of Matrix LEDs in your face![]()
I hear you but I would prefer a standard e90 320d to a 316i with every option box ticked.I've seen some fancy 320d's over the last few years, specced like an entry level polo. Shockingly so actually. Lowered sports suspension, low profile tyres, then you open the door...
