Of course it can - it will be, just in time for elections ... miraculously things will "work" (they'll probably run the diesel like there's no tomorrow)...

Eradication of 16-years of loadshedding in 8 months?

2024 electioneering is starting sooner than usual!
 
Oh no, the ANC made a promise.

Electricity minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa said load-shedding could be reduced to stage 3 by September and eliminated by the end of the year.

Ramokgopa made these comments as part of his plan to end load-shedding during a special cabinet meeting on Wednesday convened by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Ramaphosa could not do it back when he was 'appointed' to eradicate loadshedding. Not only is the economy being held hostage, they are making electoral promises. This is bad, and good luck on walking back those money-rich commitments. I don't see how we don't appear like a circus. Why were these commitments approved, when the partners knew the situation well and whom they are dealing with?

Not only that, but by remarking that loadshedding will only be reduced to stage 3 by September would mean that Stage 4 is what they want to be normalised. Stage 5 and 6 it will be.

Eradication talk is politicking. More a talker than an engineer.
