Lol. Well it is the norm now that they have a senile old president that cannot answer a question which his team didn't prepare for before hand. They should just do away with the entire question thing. Just put out a daily or weekly press statement. That would be enough for leftist media.

As usual, you provide no proof that this is the norm. Indeed, the fact this event got press coverage suggests not. It's just the usual story of leftist media collaborating with the regime.

Anyone posting that Biden uses cheat sheet is a joke. Obviously he does. It is Biden. Where have you been that this is surprising or newsworthy.

And then complaining about media double standards. Lol that's so 2017.

I mean, let's put aside the disconnect from reality for a second. It's pretty easy to find many, many interactions with Trump and the press. He could talk to the press at the drop of a hat. The difference between the Biden and Trump presidencies in this regard is like night and day... You don't even have to like Trump to admit it. I mean, it's not uncommon for the Biden Presidency to call a lid early in the mornings days in a row...

The fact that it is defended, and accepted, is just astonishing. The media are supposed to be for the people, and not the propagandist arm of the government and political parties. But it's just more confirmation of how rotten US politics has become. And this is why I believe corporate media needs to die very quickly.

Yeah, it is old news. What should shock everyone is the nonchalant acceptance of the status quo. The media and the justice system are the only 2 protections the people have against governments and politicians.

Pretty standard. Even Trump used cheat sheets including name cards of who were in meetings and questions which may be asked.

It's generally regarded as an unethical journalistic practice to give a source specific questions ahead of a scheduled interview.

No and no. Biden is their guy. He is the perfect puppet.
The media is not there to protect you, they are there to push propaganda. This has always been the case, but is more evident in recent times. Or the propaganda pushers coordinate better to reach one official message making it more transparent.

That's true. Trump press conferences were frequent and often drawn out, hostile affairs with the leftist media doggedly trying to get him. He would be taking their questions on the fly and often turning it around and making fools of them. Which would further enrage them.
You have to be totally disconnected from reality to not spot the difference between that and the soft ball, spoon-fed, albeit rare Joe Biden "press conferences".

Obviously fake we all know trump could not read anything that small it had to be his own hand writing in big letters with a marker(sharpy, whatever the Americans call it.)

Funny, I remember Trump press conferences as those where a question was asked and his response was never directly a full response and almost always went off on a tangent about an unrelated subject which he repeated the same phrase at least 2-3 times with added hyperbole.

Just to point out your own sources calls the practice "unethical".

This cue card reading of questions & reporters shouldn't be conflated with the more general practice of the WH asking the press for questions ahead of time to help them better prepare, which also caused a brouhaha a few years back.

Which is stupid. If you are asking for questions ahead of time you can answer all of it in a press statement and doing the entire press briefing is a waste of time.
