My internet went down about 30min ago. On openserve PTA. Ont has green light. Also rebooted my opnsense box and the ont still not up. I did log a ticket as well
Same here, at around 00:01. Downdetector shows A LOT of reports for openserve/telkom.

Openserve seems to be having a large outage in Pretoria. My connection went down at exactly 00:00:58. That timestamp tells me that it was planned maintenance that turned into unplanned downtime.

My line went back up at 02:12:39.

I initially thought Cancellations had to take place before the 20th within the same month? I'm reading now that it's a full Calendar month in advance? That's a bit awkward.

I'm currently in the process of moving at the end of the month, however, due to a lengthy process as bonds are, I've only been made aware that everything will be wrapped up within the month as of this week.
I'm still sticking with Cool Ideas and Metrofibre, but this timing, cancellation, and relocation is putting me in a strange position.

Aside from the whole notice bit, what is the difference in turnaround time if a line has to be installed compared to if one is already installed? I'm trying to line everything up to a point with minimal turnaround time

Hi @CoolEscalator will assist here, moves are far too complicated than they should be and this is down to FNOs making it so difficult.

Hi, may you kindly share with us the cancellation ticket reference so we can check with our connect team.

I haven't had any major issue but posting this here just so that you guys are aware @PBCool @CoolEscalator @CoolHelp @CoolChick . Latency has been elevated since just after 4PM yesterday between DBN>JHB. It roughly correlates with the AH outage, not sure if they are related in any way but it has not recovered since then. My usual average is +- 11ms, currently getting 15-16ms on average.

I have included a ZIP file export with timestamps and ping tests.

Hi there
Thank you for reaching out.
I do see the same thing on our monitoring , and will reach out to our team to check with our NLD provider.

Will let you know

@esn33 However, the latency has only increased by around 4 ms, which should not have a huge impact.
I will still check with the team though

Yeah not a major problem, everything else seems mostly fine when I was gaming last night just slightly higher latencies.
It seems the NLD is just on an alternative path, as there might be an issue with the primary path.
So once the NLD provider fixes said issue, it should go back to the lower latency path
