Trump involved in East Asia. So China said we'll get ourselves involved in Panama and Venezuela. Then Trump said no, at least to Venezuela. The ball is now in the Russian and Chinese court. At heart this is what this is about.

Also a warning to Mexico and possibly Brazil.

It's not about Maduro at all. It's about what happens to regimes resisting US advances, particularly weaker nations. Btw, This is why international law exists.

Illegally installing puppet governments in order to extract whatever they need to.... that's the essential issue here, everything else being said in the aftermath is a diversion/distraction from this essential fact.

The only question now is who condones this and who rejects it.

And that's already become clear 🤣, the people we're constantly told are the bad guys will reject this, and ofcourse the self proclaimed good guys will give you a thousand reasons why this is the greatest thing ever....oh, and not for themselves but for the people of Venezuela, democracy, the beetles in the Amazon, flying ants and the purple tailed pigeon of Borneo.

Maybe I should dumb myself down ....or perhaps you're doing a poor job of playing dumb. I suspect the latter!

Drugs etc is the excuse being offered....not only is it a pathetically weak one, but even if it was true... international law forbids this type of action as a means of addressing the issue.

Look into which countries are responsible for most drugs entering the US,then ask yourself why Venezuela was targeted. Also look at America's stated intentions for the Venezuelan oil industry and what stood in their way.

rules and regulations? people have been disregarding those for decades,
at this point they are just empty words on a blackboard while the class is in Chaos, nobody wants to stand up to the biggest baddest in the world, who are also VETO members, Russia China,America, UK, France,

all of them fought multiple world wars, all of them started, ended, occupied, and sanctioned each other, all of them make the rules,
and yes indeed can ignore and rewrite the laws to suit them, History is indeed written by the winners,

look for instance, why isnt Japan a Veto state, why isnt Germany, or AUS or NZ?

my point being, nobody will stand up to these guys, unless they have the backing of one of the Veto powers, precisely why Israel does as it pleases and is always defended by the US, and why us Israelis always know that can end whenever the US is displeased with us. as those same laws have been used unsuccessfully for years.

then you get the Class idiot South africa, who gets given a bribe and says something nobody even cares about.
all it does is prove why South africa is the class idiot who sits in the back of the class being ignored.
