Over a decade after starting, this SOE "bank" (term used very loosely) still had no banking license!

This people is how intelligent your leaders and their appointees are - they cannot even manage the most basic and simple of regulatory obligations but, they want to write and implement laws to tell the private sector how to conduct business!?

What an absolute joke!!!

Yeabo, that's what the cadres and comrades are capable of.............................(if you have to ask you shouldn't be here)

This whole thing pisses me off no end.

The level of stress it added to some peoples lives that I know is insane, watching their life savings effectively get locked away with zero forewarning and then no communications about whats happening etc.

All because a bunch of idjits at the top couldn't do their jobs in the first place and were skimming from the top.

Sad that so many people still don't realize that State owned just mean "will be stolen" although SOE's like SAA, Post Office, Eskom and the PIC etc should have been hints enough of what was coming.

There shouldn't be any stress - if South Africans have not realised by now to stay away from anything involving the ANC, then frankly they deserve to get punished!

You tell that to all the domestics and other workers who had their life savings of maybe 100k in an entity that was a 'bank' only to find it blocked one day for no reason that they know about.

I agree about the anc thing, but the rank and file out their aren't always smart in the ways of banking to put those things together.

The State once again proving it isn't fit to govern or run anything.
