According to The Wall Street Journal, Mexican security forces killed Nemesio "Mencho" Oseguera, the head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and assessed as one of Mexico's most powerful cartel leaders; footage on social media shows utter chaos unfolding across Guadalajara and other CJNG strongholds after Mencho's killing.

What appears to be random fighting shooting the streets is crazy.

Hopefully it doesn't escalate into anything.

More instability... Now Iran just needs to get going then the world economy can tank some more :(

Damn, there goes all the virtue signallers plans of going to Mexico for a vacation instead of the US 😂

This won't prevent people from going to Mexico. If indeed they have to be in Mexico instead of Belize for example, then they'll just go to other parts of Mexico less likely to be affected by CJNG violence.

Speculation at the moment don't know how true. Cartel guys blame USA so they are retaliating by killing/kidnapping US tourists.

Cocaine isn't just right wing. It is a party drug used by all sides.
I know, and the left are not the only ones who holiday or staycation in Mexico, I was responding to a childish comment with a childish comment. Not my brightest moment.
