Delivery rider mob stands-off with police in South Africa, bikes impounded

The Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) has impounded 23 delivery motorcycles for non-compliance with South Africa's road laws after a run-in with a mob of riders in Pretoria.

After officers chased down a delivery rider who had evaded them, approximately 40 motorcycle riders arrived and attempted to block officers from inspecting the rider's bike and documents.

"approximately 40 motorcycle riders arrived and attempted to block officers from inspecting the rider's bike and documents."

WTF is wrong with people in SA, law and order don't exist in their minds.

Lock them all up, if they are from a foreign country send them back.

I guess you can’t outrun a GTi on a delivery bike, something tells me this mob has done this before with normal motorists and instinct kicked in:

You just have to manage to call one, they will summon the full legion.
Maybe he just sends a location on the whatsapp group and the full legion respond as normal, only this time they didn't expect to find LEOs there instead.

I've seen these guys come out as a mob. They're probably all on the same WhatsApp group. And from the way they drive they deserve a bit of an im-pounding.

Only road rage incidents? Sounds like you're on their side. They don't gang up after they caused an accident?
I am certain they are involved in a lot of things, I don't know how mentioning one implies they are not involved in any other thing.

Anyway, fighting after an accident qualifies as road rage, do you disagree?
