Things that irritate you - Part 4

Why do so many intersections in jhb start as a double lane but 10 meters after the intersection it merges into a single lane?
 
Getting a bit tired of things like Spotlight on female directors, females in the workplace, Women on the go and and and. We get it guys you're female, you wanted equality, you got it. Now stop announcing it all the time.

And to add to this, today my wife heard that she's ALSO being TUPEd to a new employer

In her case though, I think it's a good thing, as she was working for an outsourced provider and she's being transferred to the client.

Yeah that sounds like a good thing for her. So bit of positive news to go with the kark news you got.
 
Today is National Water Day in Mzanzi. Pity so many have been outed in water in the past few days (we too). What a horrible joke
 
I received the below sms from Absa, they just sent this out to all Absa customer regardless of whether you did upgrade or did not, and even if you dont have a credit card you got it.

The Capitec ABSA difference:

Capitec run by whites mainly for black customers. Fraud and corruption and theft from inside Capitec very low. Capitec look after their customers.

ABSA run mostly by blacks for both black and white customers. Fraud and corruption and theft from inside ABSA high. ABSA is fully BEE. ABSA don't give a flying **** for their customers. Losing customers not a worry for them. There are many more black fish in the sea.
 
AirBNB rules these days.
They're like
please make sure you clean all dishes, make your bed, restock the fridge and pantry, no talking, no whispering, lights out by 7pm, leave by 6am, check in at 4pm, plus there's a person staying in the one room to see if you have a beer.

This is why I book with hotels or resorts. Airbnb started off well but they went downhill very fast. Last one I booked offered tea and coffee but no sugar. In a 12 sleeper and only had 4 glasses and 7 mugs.
